A downloadable game for Windows

THIS GAME WAS MADE FOR REVSCARECROW HALLOWEEN GAMEJAM 2024

NIGHT OF THE NECROMANCERS v1.1

Recommended specs:

Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit versions only.

CPU : X64 architecture with SSE2 instruction set support.

GPU : DX10, DX11, and DX12-capable GPUs.

RAM : 8GB or more.

It might run on Linux under proton but i have not tested this

About the game:
It is recommended that you play with the Dither Effect toggled on in the options menu.

This game is inspried by flash games like Zombie Grinder 60000 and the look of Alone in The Dark (1993/DOS)

Its 2.5d sidescroller with a shotgun, you shoot stuff..

Everything about the controls that you need to know is in the "HOW TO PLAY" menu at the start.

Playtime is 10-20 minuts at max.

Bugs: yes many.. see how many you can find.

Known bugs :
Vsync and Framecap in the option menu is fighting.

Resolutions over 1080p behave stupid.

Gibs not behaving like they should.

Boss music retriggers after death.

Touchinng the boss feet in the right location will make him fly and get stuck in the celling.

changelog/fixes since 1.0

fixed Stutter while triggering some story elements.

fixed Exiting the game to the mainmenu and restarting will result in the player being stuck.

Possible things i would have liked to implement if i had the time:

More levels and enemies.

Weapon/ammo upgrade.

Better enemy behaviour.

A save / level select / unlock system.

Last thoughts:

This game is hold together with chewing gum and paper mache.

But it is also my first gamejam realease, i had to show i could do it... even if its kinda crap.

Hopefully someone will find some enjoyment from this thing.

This is very much a prototype thing.
